Should I have not asked him ? HELP !?

He ignores my texts and messages and stuff but he does like me I know for sure, He said he was gonna bring me to the movies ( when I waited 3 hours to tell him because I was so scared I cold barely breathe ) and like he calls me "gawgus" like AWW , he's really nice and I don't get why he ignores me sometimes . Like what do I do ? And don't say confront him because I mean come on that's too much for me.
