Should I change my double barrell surname? Which name should I drop?

I have a very unique and rare last name and I love it; people don’t pronounce it correctly most of the time and they never attempt to spell it even though it is really easy to pronounce and spell. It has never caused any problem for me professionally. Therefore, I would recommend going with the uncommon name that you like; if your credentials are good I don’t see racial issues being a problem.
