I'm scared of being in a cliche relationship, any advice on how to change?

It's weird because I love romantic comedies, whenever i watch them, i'm always like "Aww that is SO adorable, I want a guy like that!" Recently, I've found a guy exactly like what I've always imagined a guy should be like, but I'm scared. I'm scared of flirting and acting all lovey toward him because I feel weird, like it's not real, it's a torn kind of feeling. He REALLY likes me, but i'm just scared to let myself fall, does anyone have any advice that can help me get out of this feeling??
