How to remove pesticides off plants.?

I am going to buy a privet plant for my Black Beauty Stick Insect (Peruvian Black Velvet Stick Insect) and i don't want to pesticides i know they put on the plants to kill them... is there a spray i could make or something to get the chemicals off?
