Les Paul or Stratocaster?

Personally, I think the instrument you choose reflects what you are, what you listen to, and what kind of music you like best. It's a critical first step that can't be answered by who you'd like to sound like now. As far as Strats sounding twangy...The most searing solos ever recorded are most likely 9 out of 10 a Strat or Tele. "Comfortably Numb", "Crossroads", "Red House"...You get the picture. And any LP fans that have to throw in Jimmy Page...All of Zeppelin II was recorded with a tele. Honestly, the new EVH wolfgang is the best guitar I've played yet.
